Key ingredients for facial masks
Okay, let’s take a look at the use of key ingredients. Personally, I love them, and I think they bring an extra special twist to what would usually be a simple recipe for homemade facial masks. And now we’re going to look at this in more depth.
Kaolin is a powder-like clay rich in minerals and is perfect for all skin types, but more so for combination/oily skin. It can also help increase the movement of the vascular and lymph because it is really decongesting. It also has other medicinal applications, such as diarrhea and digestive conditions. Now, one thing I want to make you mindful of is fit for the most skin type, but I would be careful if you had delicate skin.
Carbonate with Magnesium
It is a pure mineral powder, ultra-light in texture with a mild astringent effect. It’s perfect for normal/dry skin styles. It tends to soothe and smooth the skin. It can be used with rose water or with orange flower water.
It’s a perfect powder to use in your homemade face masks. Again, this is a pure mineral powder that is only used if you have a sensitive/dry face. It helps to minimize redness and soothes and soothes the skin. When I was studying, I saw this a lot at college. After a strawberry and cream mask reaction, I used it on myself, and it worked pretty quickly. I was really shocked. It’s better to make use of it with rose water.
This is perfect for any type of skin, has anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties, and is mildly exfoliating, making it an all-around great mask powder.
This is a calming lotion to be used with calamine powder for delicate, dry, and aged skin. It has anti-inflammatory effects, and it includes roses. It smells pretty, too. I just like this one, really. It’s interesting how Cleopatra used this a lot in her bath in ancient Egypt and made her own lavish body lotions using it as an ingredient.
Orange Flower Water
This is uplifting and great for oily/combination skin. Really good to use with kaolin powder and magnesium carbonate. It contains bitter orange extract. Smells gorgeous too.
This is great for an oily / combination. It has antioxidant and anti-irritant properties and would be good to mix with kaolin and magnesium carbonate powders.
